Dear WPOS,

This has been on my heart since the programming has changed to more southern gospel singing. It touches my heart to know that many are hearing this great music. I heard this music as a young girl in church and the message in the songs still thrills my heart. The words were written by folks that were truly inspired by God. These songs are so beautiful and I pray many souls may hear the gospel through song and be saved.

Many thanks for your time and continue the playing the good southern gospel songs.

Sincerely,
Gara

Dear Friends,
This is Les from Lucas County jail and I shared about recently surrendering my whole life to Christ and becoming a desciple to Him. I want to share with you that it is so wonderful serving Christ, yes even from here. I can identify with Paul's obvious joy in Philipians though he was in prison. Please, please pray and ask the listeners to pray that God will continue to strengthen me and daily remind me of His presence.
Additionally, I would like to pray for a few followers of Christ who will be able to write to me and encourage me during the years I will probably do. As we are called to uplift one another... I ask for this. I don't want anything more than some friends in Christ.

Peace & God's Blessings,
Les Raymond

Several weeks ago I was sitting in my car and I heard a solo sung by a guitarist with a powerful, soulful sound to his voice as he sang the lyrics, "Rescue Me". It sounded as if he were in to some dark pit that he could not pull himself out of and was crying out to be rescued. Would you know the artist and the name of the song so I could purchase it? I had pulled up at Andersons in Sylvania and could not get out of the car until the song finished. I also want you and all those who program the music at WPOS that your programming and worship sound is the best it has ever been. One day in driving down McCord road a song came on about holding my mother's wrinkled face in my hands again and the tears fell down my cheeks until I reached Airport Highway.
Denise is refreshing and precious as she bings her own unique personality into a world that is hungry and hurting for the true and pure Christian. I love being able to pray with her on the program. May you all continue in the path that the Lord has chosen for you and please know that only in eternity will you know how much you have blessed those in your community.Keep on keeping on and know that Jesus loves you all and so do I.

Jesus Loves You and So Do I!

WPOS-FM provides much spiritual enrichment not only to me,  and I'm sure to countless others as well.
I can honestly say that without WPOS-FM, there would be a spiritual void in my life. The programs beginning with yours in the morning and others off and on throughout the day that I am able to listen to provide good Christian nourishment that I have been unable to find anywhere else on such a regular basis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
While I like my church a lot and have been a faithful part of it for more than 12 years, WPOS-FM fills in the gaps when church is not in session.  I have been a faithful listener for more than 6 years, and a faith partner the past few.
I don't think I have ever seen as much growth and excitement at the station in the past year as in the previous 5 that I have been listening. The programming has truly been a blessing for many souls in our area. It seems that change in some way, shape, or form will be forthcoming. It is unfortunate that some  at your station will be unable to help celebrate  that change. However, time and life goes on.
We can only hope and pray that "His Will Be Done".  In the meantime, please continue to build His Kingdom and seek the wisdom and guidance of Jesus in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Please continue to follow your mission of 42 years in being, "Your Hometown Christian Radio station: 102.3 WPOS-FM". Here's praying for many, many more.

Thank you kindly,
 ~ Ed

My husband and I attended the WPOS Homecoming and it was wonderful!!! So encouraging. My husband lost his job May 1st and we are walking through a valley and the concert was just what the Great Physician ordered! Thank you so much. Do you plan to make it an annual event? I think that would be awesome!

Bless you,
Kathy

I love WPOS and my favorite songs are Whispered Prayers and The Antioch Church Choir.
ENTIRELY TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

I just wanted to send an e-mail saying that I catch Daybreak almost every morning for at least some of the show when I wake up in the morning. I've never called the station, and I've only been there twice and it was years ago, but have been listening and financially supporting for quite a few years now. I'm 32 and listen from Swanton, Ohio. Actually, it's outside Swanton and closer to Berkey, Ohio. I just wanted to share how much I appreciate the programming at WPOS. Daybreak is a great show, and I love most of the ministries you air. It's so great to have a station like yours so close to home. So many Christian stations, at least the ones on TV, air so many phonies. But not WPOS. My favorites are John MacArthur, Tony Evans, J. Vernon McGee, David Jeremiah, Adrian Rogers, and Chuck Swindoll. I'm also getting used to listening to VCY America, even though I do miss Moody, especially Mike Kellogg. I also like that most of the music you play is southern gospel. You can't hear that on any of the other stations in the area. Hopefully someday soon I'll come back to the station for one of those concerts. I do drive by the station every once in a while. God bless WPOS!

Dear Mr. WPOS & Staff
Thank you for the Summer Homecoming concert tickets and CD's. We really had a Great Time!! Since we had front row seats, we took some pictures (about 300 pictures & some video clips). Thanks again.

In Christ's Love,
Denny & LeeAnne

I am the one who requested "It Is Well With My Soul". The background on that is the Lord saved us and gave "It Is Well" as our theme and testimony. He then called me into youth ministry. That's why the song means so much to me.
Thanks again for the greatest concert that I have ever attended. The Summer Homecoming Concert was a touch of Heaven. We were thoroughly blessed, blessed, and blessed again!

In His Love,
Chuck

My friends wanted me to pass along to you and your family just how blessed they felt on Saturday (summer homecoming concert) evening. I think all of us felt the power of the Holy Spirit there. I'm so glad my two new family medicine residents were able to attend. They'll be here for three years and are anxious to come and experience more concerts during their time in Toledo. Both residents are Catholic and aren't familiar with southern gospel music but they said the music touched them.

Thanks so much and have a great day.
Cheryl

When I talked to you this morning I wanted to mention to you what a tremendous blessing the Summer Homecoming Concert was the other night to me and my family. It was one of the most awesome concerts that I've been to in a very long time! It's very evident that you love the Lord as well as each other. Praying God's continued blessings for WPOS.

In Christ's Love,
Mary

Thank you!
It is a little over due, but just wanted to thank you for your Daybreak program on July 4th. So many good things were said that just are not being taught in schools and even mentioned on regular media. Our American history has been rewritten by humanists, liberals or whatever you want to call them. The younger generations don't really know the purpose of the founding of our country, it isn't taught in schools and patriotism is not too important any more. My grandchildren are "victims" of this rewriting of history and know little of the reason for the founding, Revolutionary war, the Constitution, and even the Gettysburg address.

So keep up the good work and spread the good word along with the Good News. Enjoy your programing when I am at home to listen. May God's blessing of WPOS continue to thrive!

Sincerely,
Suzanne

I'm so thankful for WPOS... the staff and the program content. It's a rare day that WPOS isn't on in my home.
I consider it a privilege to be a faith partner this year. How could I not support something that means so much to me?

God bless you real good today.

Praise the Lord! Saturday night after I put my littleones to sleep, I had some dishes and things to do around the house. It was late and I really didn't want to do anything, considering it was going to be Sunday the next morning. So, I turned on the radio and what did you (WPOS) have playing but my favorite music of all time...GOSPEL BLUEGRASS!! I was so happy, it uplifted my spirit, and I enjoyed cleaning the rest of the evening til bedtime. Thank you for playing bluegrass as I know some of you are just staring to warm up to it :) It's such practical music... I love it!

Best Regards,
Jessica

Hello,
I have listened to WPOS during the early morning hours - "Music Till Dawn" three times a week. I love the Christian music played during this time. Since my husband died three years ago, at least three times a week I lie awake and the music is wonderful! Thanks for providing beautiful Christian music. I am 82 years old and play the piano and the organ.

God Bless Your Service,

Thanks so much for your support of Heartbeat's Golf Outing. Through your prayers and donation of two bronze passes, you helped make the endeavor a big success. With the money raised by this, more mothers and their unborn children will be helped. This will enable God's little ones to be born to fulfill God's will.

With Christ's love,
Ronald

I must thank you soooooo much for referring us to Sheri LaFontaine!!  She was most incredible & again, it is amazing how the body of Christ has the bond that makes everyone family, even though we've never met.

I thank you that you are not only great a radio station, proclaiming our Savior, but such a great resource as well!  Continue walking in the Light of our Lord and Savior!!

In Christ,

I just wanted to express my thanks for adding Alistair Begg to your line-up!  I love his straight-shooting way of expressing God's Truth!  He is wonderfully used by The Lord to convict & exactly what we need!
Just wanted to let you know.  Keep listening to the Spirit of God & you'll be blessed!

Listening to WPOS blesses me everyday!
I don't know how I found this station years ago but I am so happy that I did. I am struggling trying to put into words what this station has done for my spiritual life. So right now I am just going to say, God Bless You and Thank You so much! I sure love to crank up the radio and listen to WPOS, I hate it when I miss something.

God Bless to all of you!!!

WPOS,
I lived in Toledo for four years and I have to tell you that I listened to WPOS every day. A few weeks ago I moved back to Wisconsin. The one thing I miss from the time I spent in Toledo would have to be the people and Christian programming at WPOS. Each morning, your programming has helped me worship the Lord through music that praises His name, scripture that spreads His word, and works that demonstrate His compassion for others through your programming and what the radio station does for the community. I would like to thank the WPOS board for including WPOS Streaming Audio as part of the station's budget expense. I had to move away but I am grateful that I was able to take you with me.

God Bless You All!
Christina

Hello, my name is Charlene,
I've just returned from Visiting My Mom who is 92 years of age, residing at Luther Hills in Oregon, Ohio. She listens to WPOS in her bedroom from 9:00pm at night until the time she rises in the A.M. What an incredible source of comfort, peace and assurance. Your overnight programming is.... As I experience the peace in her apartment I know she is bathed in the Love of God throughout the night and Thank You for such a Glorious Program... I enjoyed it immensely and will  bring WPOS to California with me.... Please know You are heard and received with Great Healing in Your Wings. God Bless You All.

If I may "yam" for a few, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all of you in the mornings on my drive to work. I am a faithful listener and a new "Faith Partner" this year. SO many mornings (especially since Christmas which have been very trying after losing two pets, being burned in a house fire and having my office mate unexpectedly pass away) I have driven to work in tears praying the whole way and you will play just the perfect song. At other times it's just the right message. Thank you for being in tune and letting Christ guide your hands when choosing the music you play. You never know who you are ministering to. We are so blessed in this area to have a station like WPOS.

God bless you all!
Sherry

WPOS,
I got word from my home church family that you prayed and asked people to pray for me while I was going though throat cancer. I just wanted to thank you. God is good! He has healed me. He is worthy of all the praise.

Your friend and brother in Christ,
Greg

So many blessings, we cannot count. I personally was in tears (reminding me of what Jesus did just for me), in laughter and everywhere in between. Thank you all for what you do for the Kingdom! My prayers are for WPOS to continue proclaiming our Savior until Jesus returns for us and we get to spend eternity praising Him!!

Love and prayers in Christ,
Karen

I see that it is now possible to request favorite songs by email. That's a great idea!  You guys are always coming up with good ideas.

Cordially,
- J.
