Let's see... God's Word, fantastic music, family and friends. Does it get any better?
..
Sure! Just have some more "old friends" come on over!
..
And when those old friends are Bill and Gloria Gaither, the blessings are huge!

Bill Gaither holds down the piano parts ....... and then chuckles at the funny parts!

A happy time was had by all.

When George Younce, nationally-recognized Southern Gospel singer from Stow, Ohio came into Akron City Hospital in October 2000 in cardiac arrest, it was touch-and-go. When he came back three years later, it was touch-and-go again. And now, he came back again, but this time to do something to benefit Summa Health System and it attracted visitors from all over the country.
As a Gospel music legend, Younce hosted “A Celebration of Life, Joy and Giving!” Benefit Concert on August 19, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at the Akron Baptist Temple, 2324 Manchester Road, in Akron, Ohio. Proceeds from the concert will benefit Summa’s Critical Care Center, which will open in 2006.
Younce credits his good fortune to God and the Summa staff who helped save his life.
“God has worked many miracles in my life by providing the right people to cross my path when I need them most,” said Younce. “Since 1999, Summa has been rated as one of America’s best hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, therefore I want to help them in some special way by raising funds for their much needed Critical Care Center.”
